I must be dreaming...
am i?
for ti's above of me
is beauty incarnate...
she who is all lithe and lovely, with bright shining eyes...
showers my singing with praises
i know i have good singing talent
but...
ti's a sight i never seen before
HARK MY WORDS
a new era has dawned
me, bottem the tailor
has charmed one who has superior beauty
and she has humbly invited me into her abode!
and with many scantily dressed maidens
i exchanged greetings with those maidens
and the lord of all of them
if i may call her name
"Titania"...
ti's name
mixes power, beauty, and the divine right to rule!
and i, bottem the weaver
has charmed her
ti's a feat i never imagined possible!
she feeds me with fruits of every kind!
of acorns, of apples
and she has even invited me to her bed!
what more can a lowly species like me want?
of humanity
and of the male gender
what higher comforts and living standards are there?
i shall have to propose to her soon

MY DREAM(before meeting the beautific lady)
I had the strangest dream yesterday.
It all started when we went to rehearse the play. Being the most important lead, i arrived fashionably late.
While rehearsing the magnificent play, we encountered a few minor obstacles, all of which i managed to solve admirably, with little sweat.
The solution was that we prepared a prologue before starting the play,to state two important facts.firstly to state that lion, was not actually a lion, but a man in a costume.secondly that that pyramus is actually not pyramus, but fair bottem, the weaver, the all important ME.
The next obstacle, which involved the moonshine illuminating the act on the day of play, is easily resolved, again, by yours truely, where with the prodigeous skill and uncanny knack of calender-flipping skills, I quickly and swiftly found the date of which the moon would visit our play- it exactly co-incides with the date of our play. PERFECT.
Next, came the problem of the wall, through which Thisby and Pyramus commune, is easily resolved, with my suggestion of a couple of hard plasters and whatnot, to make a human into wall, and with his fingers made into a hole-shape, where Pyramus and Thisby talk.

the first act
Today was a most tiresome day indeed. I have managed to secure the role of the chivalrous Pyramus in the up coming act "the most lamentable comedy of Pyramus and Thisbe" all this was achieved with a simple demonstration of my acting prowess. It was in a room in a cottage on a hot afternoon. Gathered in the room were quince the carpenter, snug the joiner, flute the bellows mender, snout the tinker, starveling the tailor and lastly, myself. We had congregated there to decide the roles we should be getting for the upcoming play. We sat down to discuss the roles which we would be getting, and I acted out all the individual roles of the characters with much vigor, until quince wisely deemed me suitable to play the role of gallant pyramus.I shall act graceful as a lion, and charming as a swan. And lest the women are frightened I shall aggravate my acting such that should they shriek, it would be out of awe. Quince himself had confessed that only I would be suitable to play the role of such a proper man, and a gentleman-like one at that. Thus, I have agreed to undertake such an important role. It is decided that we shall meet in the remote forest where hardly a soul lingers, to rehearse for the play for if we meet in the city, we would be dogged with company and our devices known. In the meantime, I shall go prepare the necessary items. Adieu~
